so rice, why you wasting money like that? you could have probably got a new cam for the cost of all that.

I thought that too originally. But after doing exhaust, extractors, cam, CAI, I figured, why not? At least with the bodykit and nice interior I'm not gunna loose my licence. Don't get me wrong, I'll get back to the engine work, but the Momo steering wheel and that are definately worth it!

I havn't tested out the painted needles yet - like I said, i only just painted them, there busy drying!

I've always liked the white dials .... simple as that! :)

For now the interior had the priority .... the next mod may be headers or maybe upgrading the front speakers .... time will tell.

very clean looking car mate, so did you put leds in there or is it the face which allows it to light up that colour?

its just a face no LED's. But a set up white LED's behind there will give it a much more "intense" blue colour. Rather then the aqua colour it is now

The white dials themselves provide the blue lighting at night.
I'm still using the standard globes which work quite well.
I did try the white LEDs but it produced to much "flare/reflection" of the orange needles onto the white face because it has a slight sheen to the surface.

i can tell just by looking at them  Plus, that pic you added a few posts up shows the cluster pulled apart with the lights on. The yellowish light is a dead give away!!

hey Ronin contact Applied Instrument Co in balcatta, ph 9240 6999. they will fix it if you, like correct the speed, if you dont put it back together properly. they fixed mine for $35. but its also easier if u take the dash out for them or they will charge u up to $160 to fix it.

is this the only way to get them lined up properly ? take it to a vdo place ?

You can use diagnostic mode ( http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=12 ) to calibrate your indicators (EF/EL) - the only indicators that aren't probably straight forward are fuel and temp - the fuel level resistance figures have been posted before - temp IIRC the first notch is around 75°C.
