The only thing i've found, which may not present and problem for yourself, on the EA. Is that 14's wont fit on the rear of EL's, if its an X-Series rim.
They hit the caliper. I don't know about the front though, as i've never wanted to put stockies on the front.

i'll confirm this, ef/el won't allow 14's on the back, it'll hit the caliper. never tried the front either!
ea-ed will fit 14's no problem.

ive had 14x6 XD stockies all round on my ef a few times and theyve never rubbed on the calliper,i think it depends on the width of the rim and the off-set.

true.
i also had the stockies, thats where i based my comments on.
to make them fit, you have to file the ridge on the caliper.
i did it to my old ef, it did work, but i reckon if you did some doughies and put alot of side load on the rim, it could possibly rub.

As long as the wheels are from an xc or later falcon they will fit provided your ea does not have the ghia disc brakes as these are larger diameter rotors and need 15inch or larger wheels. The pre xc rims (xb or xa) have a smaller hub centre than the later models but offset is the same. As long as your brakes will take 14inch rims no problem otherwise you'l need 15's
