PM me please with price including postage. Ford sell them, I think they were around $9 each. You will still break things on backfire though. A better way to do it is to put a 2" hole in the lid and cover it with Gapher tape. Replace the tape when it backfires. Cheers TW.

other thing you can do is drill a 1 - 2 inch hole just after the airbox and slide some wetsuit material over the hole like a sleeve , when it back fires it will just blow the material away and bounce back on like nothing has happened . cheaper than springs and air tube if you have factory EF intake

The springs work. had them on my EL for 60.000km and never had a problem with them. The clips are s**t even if you dont run gas.
