Well my next project i do will most likely be a XD/E Falcon, i'll be putting a 302 Winsor in it, as my dad has a set of high compression poted n polished reace spec heads and a set of race spec ams for one... why an XD/E? because they look like they have a V8 in them no matter what... it'll be a metallic grey (like the au charcoal) i have the body, already painted in the grey, pretty much ready to go, just needs a new guard and a little rust repaired... the body i nice and straight with actually very little rust... scared yet? so what do ppl think? worth it (wait, no mods are worth it) but it'll be fun non-the-less... might even chuck a Power Steering kit on it... dunno though...
Cheers Chris

it wont be my first... it'll be like my 3rd... second completed though ummm the reason im going for the 302 is coz my dad has the heads and the cams already for it... and im kinda partial to the winsors... all the v8's me n my dad have played with have always been a good 302 winsor... so why not stick with what i already know and what i already have? that and hey sound orgasmic... and i dont have the money for anything bigger... i have a 351 at my dad's wrecking yard i could use but it needs to be completely rebuilt... but i don't have any gfb's for it...

If you do put power steering on use the pump of the XF, such a nicer pump. the old ones are massive and are pretty crappy to, I got one.
I'd go the 351 and put the 302 heads on it, its a popular combination thats got proven results with little cash. and if you have the parts there then your already on the way!
