Hi Fordmodders,

I just bought an NF fairlane that has got a Hornet car alarm fitted and there is no fob key to turn it off.

How can the alarm be removed?

Disconect the battery (remember to remove the negative first then the positive) and cut the common wire and ground wire to the alarm for starters, if the alarm has an imobiliser, you should find there will be wires leading off somewhere, not too sure if its wired into the ECU or if it is wired elseware, if the alarm does go off cut the wires to the siren if you dont care about the unit and want to have no alarm or replace it.

Vertualy find where each wire goes before cutting it off as you may need it.
