does anyone know if you can connect an external ariel to the radio in a ba xt ute? The reception I get from the ariel on the glass is not good esp if Im carrying stuff on the roof.

id imagint there would be a co-ax type input in the back of the h/u. so you should be able to do something

if you take off your shifter cover there will a screw either side to remove the side panels that run up the ceontre of the dash.
remove these and remove the panels, you will see two screws holding in the tissuebox holder, remove those and the tissue box holder and unplug the cigi lighter.
have a look or feel around and one of the plugs is the same as a normal aerial plug! plug her in and away you go.
