Hello everyone,
I have an EF Falcon (obviously with Coilpack) and have recently bought a wrecked EL Falcon with only 90K on the clock. I'm in the process of changing Engine and Transmission but I want to convert to the EL Distribuitor setup. Just wondering if someone could fill me in on what is involved. I'm assuming that I will have to change the Engines wiring harness and ECU. What is involved in changing the harness. Do I have to pull the dash out to be able to access the harness inside the cabin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

so you have an ef and a busted el are you putting the el motor into the ef? |

thats what it sounds like..
yeah you will need to change the engine looms and ECU. someone will tell ya what else needs doing I'm sure

is it really worth it? you wont gain any power, just put the el block and head in and use the ef ignitiong system, unless its stuffed.

use the el engine with the ef ignition system its a better system than the el anyways
