okay just paintied my dash surround (all black ill post some pics later) but one part im stuck on is the air con controls unit. I managed to take the little plastic covering off with all the symbols on it and stuff but it looks out of place been grey on black. Any one got ideas about this?

What did you paint black? the whole surround and including the vents and where the clock is/goes aswell? or did you leave that grey, coz i think if you left those parts grey it looks ok... otherwise if u wanna paint the aircon piece you could mask up the area shown in the pic below and paint the rest.



Or am I way off??

the part in the middle where all the pictures are just peels off so you dont have to mask anything, then just glue it back in.

I used a texta on a prototype.
