hey....i just got an EL falcon, which is in sweet condition except for the stereo not working.
At the moment the radio/cassette appears to work normally, as it turns on, selects radio stations, plays tapes etc but there is no sound coming from the speakers.
Im upgrading to a new stereo soon but am first trying to find out if theres anything seriously wrong with the electrics. Before it totally stopped working, if you turned the air con up higher the volume would drop to almost completely off, and then when the aircon was turned down it would go back to normal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers nick

Pull it out and have a look at the wireing, maybe the previous owner had a custom headunit and didn't wire back the original properly??
That would be my next action...
