I have a 95 Ef Fairmont and my smartlock light on the dash stays on sometimes even when driving, everything works fine runs well all locks are locking keypads work.

ok i have had a similar experience tonight. Annoyed the HELL outta me at first.
Go to start the car and WTF the smartlock is still flashing. It did 3 sets of 6 or 7 flashes and then stayed on solid. Much like an error code that the airbag gives you.
When i got to where i was going, I stopped hit the remote to lock the car, then again to un-lock the car and all good. Nothing seemed different when i was driving at all.
Any ideas out there?
