Ive got a tickford ECU from an EF.
The ECU is of 06/26/95 production according to date stamp
The part number is 94DT-12A650-GD
Catch code : 4TGD

From what I know about catch codes, its an EF ECU, thats a tickford, with a G transmission lol, and its revision D.

The only part that I don't understand is the G transmission bit.

So anyway, I don't need it... make offers. Dunno what their worth.
Anyone with input on what it is, also please speak up.

Cheers

It's an EF Tickford LPG ECU, they usually have codes like GD & GE for EF and EL's. I've got one exactly the same as yours. The LPG ECU has about 3 more wires than the petrol one.
To be 200% sure, as a quick check, if you have it's connector or still can access the car it's out of, look for an orange wire at pin 92 (petrol only models don't have it).

They're not exactly worthless - they do have LPG/petrol spark maps, but they are an auto ECU. To run on petrol just feed ign 12v to pin 92.

You could always put it on Ebay as well.

I see, twin petrol... apply 12V to pin 92 and it uses petrol maps.. awesome.

I was hoping to buy a new multimeter I wanted with this money..

Bennzy - if you have a fairmont ghia, Im not sure if this ECU has speed sensitive steering, and other ghia features... dunno the difference, or the car it came from.

Thanks for the info snap0964!

Cheers

Yeah, no probs mate, IIRC the Tickford LPG ECU's are GLI based. There is a basic doco on the Tickford LPG setups. As we know EL Ghias have speed sensitive steering, some guys have reported EFII ghias have as well, but I can't see any evidence of that in the manuals.
I'd say to visibly check - look for wiring to the steering rack/lines or pump other than the 2 wires to the pressure switch. The solenoid wouldn't be that hard to spot if there is one.
