hey all

im just looking for some help on identifying a custom ground cam?

i bout a EA 3 spd auto 4 $150 it had a 4 pinion lsd  and aparently had a 2500rpm stall convertor, a cam, and lots of extra's!!! but it has been 4 owner's since this was done it was guttless and on LPG :( so we all thought the guy was full of #### so i offered him $150 4 it he took. is use 2 lt of oil 2 do 20km i didnt care cause i only wanted it 4 the lsd so on the weekend i pulled the motor and trans out and pulled the cam out and it had a blank billit no stamped on the end pc3900sf and on the other end 599b9L1 ingraved in it!
and a bright orange touque converter

cheerz kenny

the factory ones will have a ford part number something starting with something similar to 91DA or something like that on them, so if it ain't got that it then is prolly aftermarket. regrind ones still have ford part number plus aftermarket company stamp/engrave...

Does it have extra shims in the rocker arms? That would count out some grinders.

Id guess it came from Crow based on the 599 in the part number (that is around the number of most of their I6 cams). If not, try ringing wade or surecam. Chances are its from one of them

unlikely to be a Wade regrind as it'll still have the Ford part number on it aswell then!

Some Crow stuff still had Ford part numbers on the cam. They purchased quite a few "blanks" from Ford to make their cams with.
