Hey, i have an amp and a sub that i am planning to put into my car, and i was wondering if the headunit has RCA's... Everywhere i have looked.. it tells me that the sound system has a stock AMP.. and if so where is it mounted? ... so in theory the headunit should have RCA's...

Also.. if i find that the headunit has RCA's can i run my 4x100 AMP and the stock AMP at the same time?

Thanks.

i dun think the stock HU had RCA's. they used plugs instead and RCAs to run all their systems. the AMP should be in the boot on the right hand side behind the carpet. its held on vertically.

but dont quote me on that

cheers

Amp is hidden behind the trim on the drivers side of the boot. There are 3 RCA plugs and the amp on wire there as well. The head unit end is a Ford proprietry plug.

Red and White are left and right. Yellow is sub channel. The H/U runs the sub channel in mono.

I would upgrade the power wires as well. The factory stuff is pretty piss poor. Just the standard type wire they use to power stop lights.
