went on trip to dunsborough... was really good!

but only pulled 500kms from the tank.. burger! i blame it on the unichip which is buggering up my low throttle smoothness(and idle quality)..

PETE/XR9UTE where are you buddy?? i want a tweecer! can u do a dump of my ecu(im told its an elgt item, but it dont got catchcode sticker) to test compatibilty?

on the up side tho, some edelbrock heads arrived yesterday.. hehe..

unichip is in there mainly coz its still runnin 19 pound injectors(ecu expects 24s)..

i got some accel 30s here.. so im thinkin of puttin them in with the heads n a cam, then usin a tweecer to tune it all nicely..

maybe tho.. coz the heads are 2.02 intake valves, and they stock(no valve relefs) pistons.. so i gots to find out if it'l be ok doin that, and how much cam i can run..

For a stock motor and travelling at a consistent speed of about 100km/h it does seem rather thirsty. On the trip computer, what is the Average L/100K reading?

If you are getting poor fuel econony, and idle issues - get someone who knows what they are doing to returne your unichip.

I have a unichip in my car, and if I can get 700km highway driving with a 3.9 diff - you should be able to do better

Im with Kurt. 400km out of a tank in my car in either city or country. I thought that was a little strange, but it always seems to be the way.

forced induction or big cam, fair enough..

but man, not stock. and not when unmodified xr8s are gettin 600kms.. considering my car is essentially unmodified, im thinkin its an iffy tune.
