better to weld flange's on the header & two ends of the cat. easier to upgrade your cat & exhaust.

by the way, are they old genies?

I live in the SE Suburbs unfortunatly. I think i might be able to get a deal thru one of works regular clients. Is it gonna cost much to get flanges welded onto the Extractors and Cat ? And i have no idea what the extractors are as i get em for $50 from work (Better then the stock headers :s). They look like mild steal or something. Ill try and find the damned Camera and take a pic or 2.

Just tell them you want flanges on your exhaust. When I got mione fitted on my XF I thought it was standard practise so I didn't bother asking. I got my car back to find that my whole exhaust was welded into one piece from the extractors to the tip. Imagine the fun I had trying to remove it all when I stripped my car.
