I dunno if this is the right forum for posting this, but I'm chasing an instruction manual and/or wiring diagram for a giordon 2 way paging alarm. I just bought it off ebay (came in a non-original box) and is missing the instructions so I have no idea what wire goes where

Image

Anyone happen to have one and can send me a scan of the book ?

Thanks

Well I just did a quick search and found this {DESCRIPTION}

Looks to be the company in question??

Have a search around there for your model, I didn't see any links to schematics tho.

I tell ya, it's hard enough to fit a remote start with the manual  as I found out.. GOOD LUCK !!!

I contacted the seller, he doesn't seem to have it but he's going to try and get another copy of the manual from the company, although I suspect the chances of ever seeing it are slim.

Yeah NFGhia no luck on the website :(
What sort of remote start alarm do you have ?
Did you end up getting it working ?
I dunno if I'll hook up the remote start yet, I might hook it up to the horn so I can blast people remotely as I see them walk past my car or stand around looking at it :P

that would be funny its like the panic button on the BA's when some one walks past u hit it and see their reaction, but how cool would a remote start be, but wouldnt it be a pain in the a** to hook up coz wouldnt u have to go through the computer and all that crap

I bought the Pageguard PG-6000, I got the remote start going by sticking a second IGN barrel under the dash (cheap way) and connected up the nice bits like Auto window wind-up on arming, and YES it does scare the s**t out of ppl when you hit the remote start or car finder buttons.

How handy are ya with a multimeter??? Looking at the pic of your unit it's not all that different to mine.
I could send a scan of my schematics and you might be able to test out the inputs to find what does what..

But the wiring is only half of the problem.
With my unit I have multi-choice of functions which is accessed by the valet switch (you need to know those) and various combinations of button presses on my remote to turn on and off certain functions.
I need my manual just to remember which buttons to press to set the time.. :x :x

So if you want to pm me an email I can send a couple of meg file to, I'll scan my manual and you might be able to work out how yours works.

But I wouldn't try hooking it into the car to test it out as it's not to hard to fry something.
I guess I'm sticking my neck out a bit here BUT, if you have no luck getting the manual as a last resort you could post it to me.
It sounds like a challenge  I'm a tech by trade so I can set it up on my test bench and have a shot at trying to work it out..

One other bit that might be relevant, my remote has 'omnitronic' printed on it which seems to be a big electronics manufacturer who make generic items an sell to smaller companies for retail dist..

Thanks for the offer mate.
I'll hang out for a few days and see if the seller comes though then I'll start looking at other options :)
