hey guys i have just brought a autotecnica sports steering wheel and boss kit for my el fairmont..just wondering wat everyones thoughts are on this....is it worth lossing my cruise control?
and as iam only on my p's still would this cause ne problems wid the police? and also would like to know...if i do decide to put this on..where would be the best place?

Also loose air bag? Buy a wheel that is maid specificaly for that model car. They are about check Ebay.

shoudnt cause any probs with SA police. its only a steering wheel.

totally forget it mate. Get a ELGT or a nice MOMO XR wheel.

dont qoute me on this but i swear someone was telling me it was illegal to take the airbag out. pretty sure they said if the car came with a bag, it had to have a wheel that included one.

yeah get one of the direct replacement ones.. your airbag and cruise fits straight in and looks heaps better than the "sports" wheels

dude, go to a wrecker and buy the momo wheel, it's awesome.

get a momo one''. as thay are a great wheel and you can fit you air bag as well. ''note'' if you take the air bag off. you will loose your insurance as well..

Not worth losing the cruise control
Definately not worth losing the air bag + roadworthy + insurance.

As already suggested find yourself a nice EF-AU leather XR, momo, or GT wheel

'racing' wheels looks tupid on cars that have airbags anyway, the column is too thick, it just looks retard in my opinion.

What do the momo ones look like, are they leather?

definatly stick with the airbag... just go an "xr" steering wheel.. they often pop up second hand at wreckers... n also a few on ebay usualy...
