Just wondering what the difference is?

i went to the wreckers today and he had a 3.27 spin resistent diff centre i could buy, but what i want is an lsd. so whats the difference with them? and can a spin resistent diff be changed to an lsd easily?

I dont know what a spin resistant diff is but it might be a mini-spool, if it is then steer clear because not only are they illegal but they are ridiculous to drive. A minispool locks both your wheels so they only spin at the same time which equals incredibly hard U-turns and reverse parking.

as interceptor said a spin resistant diff IS an LSD its just what they used to call them..

you sure? a spin resistent diff is an lsd?

i rang ford select parts and panels in mornington today and he told me there two different things.

well ford suck

i am quite certain a spin resistant diff is an lsd. they were called spin resistant in the xf's, ea's i know the el's were LSD not sure about in between
