Just a question guys, i have recently got a EF falcon, and i wish to remove the "Olympic Classic" sticker off the rear of the car, what is the best way of doing this. I also want to remove the "Falcon GLi" badge can this be done and how? Also when they come off will they leave a permant mark?

Cheers.

Welcome to the forums.

Im not sure on the sticker sorry... just have a go at peeling it off. Prepsol or similar should get rid of any sticky dhit left behind.

IIRC the Falcon Gli badge has alignment pegs in it... these line up to two holes in the panel so you may have some tidy-up work to do if you remove it.

For stickers just get a hair dryer and it will heat up the glue and come off easy with no marks left.

Best way to remove badges is to run fishing line beneath it to break the glue, and then remove whatever residue is left with Big Kevs goo remover or similar lol. Use a microfibre cloth as well, you'll be amazed how easily it will come off. Just make sure you apply heaps of goo remover, cause it has to soak into the glue first before the glue will come off.

For stickers use a heat gun for the best results, or hair dryer whatever is available.

To remove residue, use a product called Oomph! It works excellently and leaves a citrus smell.
It is really a good product have used it to help remove stickers off my windscreen etc.

Agree with TwinturboBMX, Oomph works wonders! Check out my doco in the doco forum for more info.
