f**k around with car electrics is dangerous, and if you do not know something as simple as how to find a ground, or which is positive and negative on your battery then maybe you should consider an auto electrician.

Don't burn your car to the ground dude.

well i have them, sometimes i like having them on, sometimes i dont, so i installed a switch. Just remove the factory ones, put yours in, yours should come with nuts to hold them to the bonnet from underneith, so use them, reconnect the hoses, connect both the black wires to one single black wire, and both red wires to one single red wire. Connect the black wire to the chasais and run the red wire through the firewall through a grommet, then connect it to a switch and theres a brown wire behind and connected to your cigaret lighter, this illuminates the cigaret lighter and ash tray, i connected the red wire with a switch to that so i am able to turn them on and off when ever i please, i stuck the switch to the top of the ash tray, so when ever i wanna turn them off, i open the ash tray flick the switch and close it up, so it keeps the switch hidden from the cops :) Just thought i'd let you know about that if you wanted a switch,

I know for a fact that LED washer jets are illegal in QLD as my GF was slapped with a fine for having them on her old pulsar.

The QLD transport laws prevent anyone using lights of any kind that are blue/red in colour as these can be confused by other motorists as being an emergency vehicle of some kind, cops, ambo's etc. Having said that, I think you can get away with green or any other colours.

IMO they look tacky & quite retarded, but its all up to personal preferences.
