you said the cylinder walls were glazed?!?!?!
that calls for a proper rebuild....bore and honing.

that calls for a proper rebuild....bore and honing. depends on the amount of glazing a light hone is all that is needed in some cases to bring the walls back and with new rings will seal nice and tight hope it all goes well for ya man! sounds like fun!

it had about 220 000km on it befor it came out.
at this point in time. it has turned over about 6 times with the use of a socket and bar. it should go pretty well. with the 4 thou of the head (and the 23 that came off a while back when it blew a gasket) along with an AU head gasket (the AU gaskets have about 4cc less volume then the pre AU gasket and most aftermarket ones) the compression should be getting up close to 10:1 just have to wait untill teusday, it should be all in and running by about 11pm |

Is this the kostecki CNC head motor you're rebuilding?
When you're ready, show us some dyno figures. really like to see how much power this heads can do with the right combination.
