G'day people,
lately my 89 ea has been chewing a bit more fuel than normal, I rarely need to drive anywhere except for the odd cruise to brisbane or sunny coast, and even then with the 3-spd i could easily get high tens, low elevens to the hundred. So I got ultratune to have a look, and they spent some time and did a full diagnostic of fuel system, and I've uploaded the results so that you'se can see here:- http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/2074 ... tic3mx.jpg He said the oxygen sensor is a bit cactus, but according to gregories, it should switch between 0.1 and 0.85 volts, but my diagnostic shows 0.128 to 0.833 volts. I'm hoping you guys could make more sense of the diagnostic then me. Also, no error codes found.

Replace your Oxygen sensor
Replace your dizzy cap and rotor button Replace your TFI Module Go get it checked again, see if its better, or Talk to Ultratune to inform you what the results mean.

This is with a 3-spd auto, doing bang on 100km/h on Bruce highway between sunshine and gold coast. Really good back then.
I however changed my hego sensor about three days ago and lo and behold:- I'd have to carbon-date this to know its exact age, but I'd reckon somewhere along the lines of 7+yrs old!!! Car's running sweet again, all thanks to a NGK hego which set me back $78. By the way I went to the local ford dealer, and the price there was $175!!!!!
