I believe it's 65mm and it should fit any Windsor intake.

65mm yep, amd it'll fit the intake no worries, but if it's like the one I got you'll need to mod the cable pull, I got a 65mm TB of Ebay, it was off an AU I believe, but the cable pull was smaller and back to front from that of an EF, the cable ball was on the inside, opposite that of the EF, and the lever was shorter than the EF lever, otherwise the TB was identical, simple fix was to mod the EF pull onto the TB, but it was a little tricky in the end, a bit of liquid metal and a small srill and self tapper did the job.

Wasn't the AU2 V8 throttle body bigger than the AU1 V8?

AUII/AUIII with the 220kw motor got the 70mm TB. Not all AUII's where 220kw though... |

Yeah 185/200kw AU engines got the 65mm TB while the 220's got a 70mm one. You shouldn't need to modify the TB itself, I assume the TB znipa-x got was off a mustang therefore needed the lever thing reversed. You will find however that you need to enlarge the holes in your TPS so it fit on the AU TB and can be adjusted to obtain the correct voltage, its a fairly straight forward job though.

ahh, yes forgot about the TPS modding, need to find some large screws as well, the dremel worked well enlarging and then slotting the plastic TPS, hmm mustang you say, probably why I got it cheap, bloke I got it of didn't tell me he couldn't fit it, but the mod was easy enough.
