hey what sort of valve springs do you guys recommend for gt40p heads with lift similar to 2031 crane was hopeing to stay with single springs so i dont have to pull heads and have them machined and its an auto so wont rev past 5500 oh and 1.7 roller rockers cheers :D

im using Crow springs (part #7738-16) and matching retainers (part # 11700XR8)...these springs are recommended for all of Crows EFI 5L Windsor cams from 477 lift & 203 / 209 duration up to their .544 lift & 222 duration cam...theyre a single reinforced spring and are a direct bolt on replacement

thanks veeate no probs valve bouncing with those crow springs can u remember the price for springs and retainers cheers

i got mine from Chris Mills .... i think the RRP is bout $260 for the springs and about $200 for the springs and collets.......but i got them a bit cheaper at trade coz i work at the right places....

I run the same crow springs and have had the engine revs well over 6k without a sign of valve bounce. I got mine from VPW, springs were $120 and the retainers were $140.
