So you have an EA? no thermo fans?
Its likely to be a worn viscous (clutch) any auto shop like Bursons or Repco will sell them. The purpose of the viscouse is that when the engine is hot the fan will engage more when driving at lower speeds, or will engage less when driving at higher speeds as the wind does the job. The bottom line is that less drag on the engine when the fan isnt needed saving fuel and gaining power. |
