Anyone tried to retrofit this onto an earlier AU ? Just wondering if its just the seat base/motors/etc and the electronics just plug in. There are 3 buttons on the seat base, so memorys of the smartlock keys dont matter. This is something handy if more than one person drives your car !

It also requires memory mirrors. (I.E. the mirrors have variable resistors in em so as the seat module can detect the mirror position).
The mirrors will dip when reversing, so I think you may have to wire the thing up to the eec bus (Not 100% sure, as I havent looked too heavily into the AU version, but more the BA version.)

Ill look in to it a bit more closely, but I think the AU and BA systems are very similar, as the AU module has fault codes for adjustable memory pedals (even hough these were only fitted to the BAs)

mirrors dont really bother me, nor the remote keys, just the 3 butons memory would be enough ! Xyphoid - any further info would be appreciated (i'll have to bite the bullet and buy the factory service manuals eventually..)
