Who cares? The differences are so bloody minor, I doubt it would even be noticeable...

How an EL XR6 has a nicer interior than an EF XR6 has got me absolutely f**k!!! They are exactly the same!!! The only difference is the EF had a full cover for the ciggy lighter, whereas the EL didn't...Very weird comments that are flying around...Sounds like some people are just trying to talk up their cars. Don't worry, it's not uncommon...

Exterior styling is subjective. Personally I would prefer it if my EF had the original EF front, not the EL front.

WTF? the interior trim is completely different, and the el looks a lot better.
i agree exterior is subjective, i just don't like EF front ends <that's not just for the xrs, in general>

oh and back on topic my xr6 ran 15.24 @ 92.31mph today at the drag day.

15.24? Not bad :)

Yeah, what mods?

Can you post a picture of the interior of your EL? I'd be very interested to see how much it differs from mine :)

Yeah, too bad my lack of traction and extra weight kills my 60 foot time as compared to the ED.

And as I've said before, (twice in this thread already :S) it's a stock 5 speed EL XR6 with a redback 2.5" exhaust (catback).
For tyres that have so little grip they won't even smoke at all it's not too bad.

what 60 foot soulfire?

yeah mine has a flat spot-lag problem at high revs which is why my mph is so low:( and my et should be quicker.

thanks, yeah i think i know what i'm doing these days.
sadly this car won't see the 14s under my ownership as it's for sale at the moment so the mods stop here. 15.2 was still damn fun.
