The donk is out of my car because the oil pump is being replaced as it was jammed up with heaps of s**t, and while the sump was coming off the mechanic noticed that the guy who did my timing chain 3,000 k's ago had not fitted the bottom guide properly and the only thing keeping it in place was the fact it was glued to the side of the sump.

I decided to have the crank polished because it was a bit marked on the count of the low oil pressure from the FUBAR oil pump, so the timing case had to come off anyway. do i have a claim against the bloke who did the chain back in canberra now i am all the way over in tamworth and that the timing case was coming off anyway. Or is it not worth the trouble, and trouble is something i am very accustomed to with this POS car.
