my mates ea just had the head gasket replaced ova da weekend and now it wont start. will crank fine had fuel and spark, we supect it is flodding. it is 3.9 with throttlebody injection

what do you think?

Spark Plug leads on the wrong plug perhaps or maybe the cam timing is now incorrect

mate had one done. wouldn't start, took it to ford
and they told him the timming(or computer) had to be re-zeroed????
never heard of it before but there you go!!!

Re zero????

if it was to far out it would crunch valves etc or are these motors non interference? if it was only 1 tooth out it would run but very poorley

harmonic balancer may have slipped causing timing to be way out. Try setting timing by finding TDC on your own, then making a new timing mark and go from there

nah not even

use the screwdriver down no 1 plug to find tdc then make sure timing marks are happy. If not, use some white paint to mark TDC and bang all cosy
