Hi, I was interested in polishing some aluminium parts for my car, (got a lot of spare time).
But then read some articles on anodising aluminium. It seems pretty easy and not too expensive. And the different colours you could use would look alright.

However just wondering if you could use it on most of the car parts that you could with just the polishing. Im guessing you would need to seal off everything but the outter of the parts.

Has anyone tried this?

i have never doen annodising at home as a hobby as i cbf and too easy to f**k up

there are a feeww places in perth that do it i foudn soem dude who does it for model aircraft and motorbikes, perfect for us but cant fidn his number

it will be easyier to get it done this way rather than a DIY jobby as far as i know only the ally can be annoed and will need to be separate from any other part
