Ive got the same shifter in the XE, and mine also sits off the the passenger side. Ppl have told me to get the linkages bent, Ive also heard that u can get an adaptor plate or something, but the simplest and cheapest in my mind solution is to get a shifter with a 'kink' in it so it then comes back towars the driver. VPW have heaps of this style shifters, but as with most things just a torch and hammer will do the trick.

Yeah thats the same as mine, instead we didnt cut that much out, we used the sledge to help it in, and the XE trans tunnel is much wider obiously, but yeah mine is exactly the same.

F**k i now know why u gotta mod the centre console for one to fit in a XY
Still, its gotta be better than the stocko setup. Anyone used a vgate shifter before? one went on ebay for 170 the other day, i never seen one. Only the renegate one
