One of my low beams decided to die so I went and replaced my H3's with Hella Plus 50's. You can really notice the difference! They're whiter and brighter, still the same wattage 55/60. Will have to replace my high beams later.

I would recommend these :)

Yes they will, and they produce no more heat then a standard bulb, just more light and whiter, so they should not melt/affect the plastic lens in the EF's at all.

dont buy anything over 3500k and make shure it says that it has a longer beam on the road. and if the globes have a slight tinge of blue dont buy them they are crap. only buy clear globes. but yes a premium globe like Narva Vision Plus, and philips vision plus, will make a slight difference. they will not be much brighter but put out more light on the road.

I run Narva Artic Blues H1 for my low beams, and Narva Plus 30's for my high beams (they don't make plus 50 in H3 format).
And Benji, H3 globes are single filament, so they can't be 55/60, they can only be one wattage... You might mean H4's which are duel filament, Mom's EB runs them in the low beam, except obviously only one filament illuminates for low beam were the other omes on with the other globes in the high beam section of the housing. My EF only has two single filament globes.

Yeah they probably are H4's, wasn't too sure when I was typing. So H4's are low/high, what are highs? H1?

Got mine from Repco, I think there is like a 20% sale on there, cost me $20 and cents for a pair.

You sure they are Hella brand? Hella cut there ties with Repco a few years back, we now only get Narva products - who also make Plus 50 and Plus 30's same same as Hella...
