hey i was wondering if you were to transplant a BA DOHC 6 in place of a standard 4ltr OHC 6....

i know the mounts would be different but i was wondering would it link up to the standard 4 speed auto (EL model) without to much drama

if you know or know of someone that would know i will be very grateful..

thanx guys

Dunno why you would want to keep the EL 4 speed. Surely the sequential 4 speed (with wiring, ECU etc etc) would be a mucher better bet.

Yes, it can be and has been done.

I believe the biggest problem is the tall DOHC heads. The engine won't fit into an E-series without bonnet modifications...
