The oldgirl wants to buy the old man a birthday present, and she was thinking of letting him loose on the race track.

Wanna get him something that he can actually drive no just be a passanger. Thinking on the lines of supercar or formula ford something like that, something with a bit of power.

I have looked on the net, and i have found a few sites, but there could be ones that i am missing.

wanting to do this in NSW, dont really wanna travel any further than the state line.

so if anyine has any links to some info for me, it would be great.

Cheers

Ben

To a certain degree yeah that is true. They have slight power increases over stock models, and are lighter etc.
You can use the whole gearbox, dad did it, and he kept missing 5th gear down the main straight at eastern creek. He enjoyed it, said he would do it again. I guess if you have never driven a v8 hard then this would be the go.

Also i was thinking, with the V8's one i think u only get a few laps yes? as i know with the formula fords u get about 40 laps approx. which was awesome. so i dunno yet, still trying to find stuff on google.

I'm doing the V8 Race Experience at the Creek in June. Very popular and books out months in advance. Should be fun. Get info here: www.freemanx.com.au

I did the V8 race in Sydney and loved it. The handling and braking are f**k awsome but the power isnt much above stock, but I dont think it detracts from the experience at all.
