aii guys, we did 2 valve stem seals today, on cylinder 1, inlet and exhaust, and just checking, coz we got this head off this turbo nut who done all this work to his motors, it has a spring inside the inlet spring, and another spring inside the exhaust spring, being double springs in both inlet and exhaust, ie 4 all up...
is this stock to have double valve springs on a i6 head? or r they ment to be single springs? thanks - Grechie

Those are just dampers, not actually a spring.

Dunno, just repeating what arm told me when I said 'what the f**k that?'
I didn't put them back when I did mine (could be bad mebbe... I dunno) cause they didnt fit snugly with the crane springs I put in. We guessed they would have rattled around and generally not worked.
