Just wondering, And want to make sure im right, Towing (NL fairlane) without a auto trans cooler ... its limited to 500kg right? ...

If so .... anyone got a auto trans cooler they want to flog of real cheap? ;)

but it is departing us in the next few months

I got a couple of trans coolers for $20. Sold one on eBay for $46 LOL.

Put your auto into third, if doing above 65km/h, the auto torque converter clutch will enter lockup mode and you will not need an auto trans cooler.

This is ONLY if you're constantly towing above 65km/h such as on a highway, not if you're towing a heavy load (stampy! :)) around town.

Yeah, sold my one out of my ED on ebay for $76 lol ;) ...

just need it for olds car, we are moving again soon, about 15km away, our trailer has a weight of umm .... about 600kg, (8X5) the roads out there don't go above 70kms, no hills, all flat, no stop starts ... so it should be okay on the auto then? ... as long as its not pilled up to much?

should drop a T5 in the NL :)

IIRC you're fine up to 1600 kilos without the trans cooler, but it's a good idea to get a trans cooler even if you're not doing any towing
