K, hopefully this will be the last problem I have putting my car back together. I couldn't remove the tensioner plug from the tensioner so the whole thing had come out. Now without any of the components in the picture inserted, there is only the slightest slack (maybe 1 and a 1/2 cm). When I install the tube, spring and bullet with the allen key, I can get it in and lock it by turning it clockwise. Now I feel the chain and its the same as before. So I turn the tube anti-clockwise till it clicks out one more turn and there is still no difference. So I put back on the tensioner and the same, no difference. I'm not sure what I should be expecting in terms of chain tension or really how the whole bloody thing works so is there any1 out there who knows whats goin on?
Cheers

The tensioner shouldnt come apart so that the spring is seperate. I have the tool to actually remove and tighten the tensioner (not allen key) and the manual on how to compress and release the tensioner. Im in south east Melbourne if you need any help.
