Are there headlight protectors avaliable for EL XR's or were they only avaliable for the AU XR's? I know I've seen some previously for one of the XR's lights... Any aftermarket companies selling them or onyl Fraud?

ummm i'm kinda p****d at the mo but the AUII protectors really looked like crap and made the car look like a midlife crisis owner.

if they break just buy new ones.

I had my left projector lens broken,

Enquired about protectors and came up with nil.

Autobarn said I could use the film as it is garenteed to protect lens.

I have purchased but not fitted yet.

It comes in a cardboard flat packet and you trim to suit lens peel and stick on.

I think I paid about $30 for it and buy memory there is enough to do 2 full size lens per packet.

Bloody over priced little 5" light's.

Yeah ive seen this film you can buy for headlights and bonnets in the latest Super Cheap catalogue. Not sure how it would go over the curves on the EL bonnet though. Was around $30 for headlights and $50 for the bonnet.

That's a pic of the headlight protectors that came with my car when I bought it. I wouldn't mind getting another set as the rubber surround on mine is starting to pull away from the plastic lenses but I don't think that anyone makes them anymore. They aren't a genuine ford item.

You stick it to the lens after you cut it to size.
You have to remove front bar to do job.
It is a very tidy way of doing it because you won't even see them as they are just stick on protective clear film.
