hey peoples i have a late EA auto practally a EBI and like it clunks and that through the gears liike first to second to third to fourth BUT when i drive it in the morning or drive it how can i explain it lke if the car sits for more then two hours it drives so nice and smooth but then after a while it sarts to clunk witch makes me think that the bands aren't f**k cause if they were f**k you would think every single time i drive the car it would do it but it seems to only do after a while of driving or around hilly situations etc and yeah any thoughts theorys etc????

S5 solenoid on its way out, tranny fluid needs replacing. Very common

S5 Solenoid is that a easy thing to replace or em i looking for some bucks for an auto bloke to fix. nah the fluid is a nice red coulour but of course couldn't hurt nothing to do!
