Is it worth putting an EL ECU to replace the 3.9 ecu i've got running my ED XR donk?

apart from the obvious BBM and thermo fans... more power/fuel economy to be had?

Being manual an EB and no thermofans... would i need any resistors etc? or would it run perfectly as a bolt in?

how far have you got? XR, speed limit, fuel, fuel ign maps? etc. What's it all worth?
