Yesterday tryed to turn the car on and it just made a click pretty much. Got my bro to jump start it and it worked. So I went down to K-mart and did a battery test but my battery passed the test easily. Any ideas what it would be :S?

If a jump start works, then the battery is either crapped (screw the test) or b your terminal to battery connection needs a really good clean to make better contact.

Dont you go to KMart to buy clothes and stuff! If the battery is over about 3 years it may be on its way out. Go to an auto electrician to have it tested and dont by Exide batteries from KMart as they are crap. I use Century and have had no problems.

bad contact on the terminals is my guess, take the terminlas off and give the posts a good clean with a wire brush. make sure the terminals are good fit and are good and tight.

this is going back a bit, but we had an old XK with a Century battery in it. it lasted 14 years. :shock: obviously the batteries have changed a bit since then, but it's an indication of the brand!

Be sure you've got the pin code to your stereo handy too (I've been done before :lol: )

Also, check out this thread:

if it was flat and required a jump start, could it be that you left something on overnight?
if it required a jump start to get it cranking, chances are it's battery or alternator related.

yeah that was the same problem as mine. the terminal wires were all corroded hanging of one copper wire from the whole 30 or so twiste copper wire. so it didnt even run. had to cut and strip the wire. cleaned the post and all was fine. but in ur case it might be alternator related.

phong =P~
