I got an amp meter here my friend said to wack in the beast. What i want to know is where would i connect it to just to read the ammount of amp's in the batt? Do i have to run two wires to the batt or that with a relay to the accessories.

An ampmeter that Jaycar sells works by measuring the voltage drop across a 0.1ohm resistor the is put between the battery and everyhting else. I have not had 1st hand experience with any other amp meters but i guess they would all have to work in a similar way. btw, that not just some crappy little resistor, its a big hunk of metal, you'll see what i mean if you goto a Jaycar store and tell them what you are doing.
