You need to keep in mind the that force in any given situation is the same.
fitting a sway bar doesn't change it, it only chages where the force is applied

maybe it was in an accident down the line some where, welds crack where its been joint up.

or maybe you just have massive traction & torque. if the wheels don't slip then the body will soak up the energy. flex here & there until somethings gotta give. lol

Even V8 supercars with their massive roll cages flex to some degree. Hell even F1 cars would too.

The bigger the car, the more succeptable it is to flex, because the distance between any two points is greater.

'Strut' bars would help, despite alot of people saying they only work on cars with Mcpherson struts. Fact is a rigid metal bar is better than a gaping hole. Ive thought about one on the front and back


The more kms are car has the more it will flex, go in an X-cab with 1million kms, they are pretty bad, or an old convertible, often their doors dont even line up.

mine is actually so bad to the point that... when i drive up my driveway.. (fairly steep step straight off the road) i can hear air through the door

They all do it to some degree... my ebii is alot worse then my nl tho... so might be something that gets better with every new model..

cost cutting I suppose, the good old days of full chassis are long gone for the s/w & sedans. your crumble zone are weaken day by day with the flexing.

I'm very surprised that there are a few people who have this problem.

When I read the first post, I thought, "nah man, it's just you"... :D

I've gotta say, that my car doesn't show noticable flex and the dash doesn't rattle at all (unlike commie dashes, which are prone to rattle...).

Its just s**t plastics.. mine have been creaking for years. The fact that the car is lowered and stiffly sprung doesn't help either. I've stuck felt in between plastics in an attempt to quiten it down a bit.. works to some degree

ive noticed on mine last few months every time i take off the back of the interior makes alot of creaking noises, never used to, ive always heard/felt the doors move going over bumps on angles aswell (they have to be pretty uneven for it to move tho), my last 3 e series have done it so im used to it now
