I melted the actual arms at the point at where the locking arms meet it, worked real well also.

If you are looking for a 5 second solution, the bulldog clip works well - or better yet my file-clip solution also works a treat. (photo on the link everyone has posted)
Otherwise, increasing the 'notch' is the best long term solution - something ford shoulda done in the series II EF!

They dont hold large maccas drinks which sucks...surly that would be the first thing in the design shed, decent cupholders?

i dun like where the cup holder is.......the centre glove box lid always gets in the way when u have a medium or large cup from maccas....boooo. but yeah that stupid clip keeps falling down. so much effort to keep a cup up. so i just get a cup tray from maccas =D

heres a stupid thought and im NOT going to do it but i could modd my glove box with cup holders that wont fall over and will take the big maccas cups. LOL that would probably look soooooo stupid.
