Yeah yeah yeah, been a million threads on this, but I hate the search function. The one on the front doors is what I want to remove. I remember hearing about using hair dryers or something? Cheers.

yeah just direct the hairdryer at the edge till it starts to lift (it melts the glue) then peel it off. you'll need to use eucalyptus oil or something to remove the residue left behind.

Well I got most of it, stopped when I got a little gun hoe with my finger nail and took a tiny amount of paint off, lol. I'll get the rest of with polish one day.
Now I just need to get my Fairlane indicator moulds sprayed. How much should that cost guys?

So will that work on my NF fairlane? I wish to remove the pin stripe all the way around the body.

I guess that material would be just like the decals I just removed, and my finger nail was enough to remove the top of it. Then I just used metholated spirits to remove the sticky stuff.

yes you can use the hair drier to take off the pin stipping .when you do this always pull the pin strip back towords you and slowly aply heat as you take it off this will stop it from braking all the time .also dont get it to hot .aas it might burn your paint

as for the indicator moulds i think the best thing to do is go get that touch up paint (you know, the s**t for big scratches) and take of the oulding then paint them. Should work a t treat.

haven't tried it myself yet but can't you remove the blinkers and then spray them yourself?
comes up a treat as you know what you want.

I personally would recommend Shelite... which is 100% liquid HydroCarbons. it doesn't leave any residue.... but Metho works just as well... the guy at the ford dealership recommended to use shelite... Shelite evaporates firking quick tho... but is good for cleaning tinted windows and taking bumper stickers off... |
