On Gas I am lucky to get to 170 so I am amazed. I will se how it goes when I get the Gas system overhauled soon

lol @ Invincibility complex

Some people will actually need a tailshaft to come through the floor and smack them in the face before they will accept the dangers of driving this fast.

I have experienced a tailshaft letting go in a falcon, and believe me its a scary experience, and it wasnt anything like what happened on mythbusters.

but at 200 (on the dyno) feels like ur doin only 140.. she didnt lean much, was smooth as, but when it came to braking... well my pads needed to be changed ages ago n my discs are shinny as lol.

i guess the tailshaft in an au fairlane would be much stronger then a ef futura right?

ive got a modded car, reasonably modded, but tailshaft is stock, i used to take it all the time off the clokc and at least tip 200km/h after hearing bout this tailshaft thign not that long ago, i wont even dare pass 160 now, i was stupid doin 200+, but never again will i want to risk it, it DOES happen, u might get lucky, but it DOES happen, so never again :), plus the difference between 200 and 180, u dont notice, its just very fast either way

Maybe you should read this thread if you think 180+km is safe on the stock tailshaft.
