Whoah lots of advice to take in, cheers guys.
I'm going to get it replaced for free hopefully, but if it breaks again I'll get a genuine ford one.

What do fraud charge for em, do you know?
I'm trying these (free) replacements from repco for now, but if they break I'll go to fraud.

that is surprising for repco, everything from there seems to be getting more and more expensive every time I talk to them

The old ones probably wouldn't hold the weight of the engine :P

Maybe the new repco mounts are designed so you can "mount" the engine in your living room and look at it :P

DONT WELD YOUR ENGINE MOUNTS.. i'm saying this coz of the legal reasons, etc... i'm saying it because, at one point when i was making my exhaust, i had it mashed against the body and it transmitted all the vibrations to the body and ITS HORRIBLE. it really isnt worth it.

my old extractors went against the powersteering arm when you turned a left hand corner, and that was bad enough for the few brief seconds :P
