ive finally got myself motivated to get this tacho cluster working finally, however.....the help document didnt prove to helpfull, it sez to run a wire from the coil pink wire to the number 8 pin on the cluster - the pink blue wire, but ive had a look and the only pink blue wire (blue wire pink stripe) thats in there goes to the number 2 pin on the smaller of the two connectors according to to the numbering on the back of them. ARGH!!!
also it seem painfully obvious that im goin to have to cut and solder the wire from the coil if this is going to work in which case its straight to an auto electrician unless theres a way to get it to work with out cuting wires. oh yes its an EA CFI if that help solves the prob. anyhelp will be great.

go from your diagnostics plug in the fuse panel (if the EA's had it) i've done it on an XG (same as EB/ED) and found that the quickest way to do so. it's still the pink/blue wire.
