Hi,

I added the Footwell lamp to my EL quite easily, but when i tryed to add one to my dad's AU, i couldn't find any appropraite wiring to attach the bulb to the doors. I have a just brought a Low Coolant sensor for my EL as well, and i found the a connector for it underneath the surge tank which i think should work. Should i just use the connector to wire up the low coolant sensor to that connector?, and simply install a bulb to the low coolant warning lamp?

Also, could some please post a picture of someone has done a LED mod to their EF/EL in white LED's. Good pic hosting site is {DESCRIPTION}

Have you checked the EL mod doco section on here? Will tell you everything you need to know about adding your coolant sensor. You don't specify which EL you have, my GLi I needed to run an extra wire to my cluster for that to work! Fairmont cluster btw!

I have a GLi
Do i have to have to run the wire to there. I found the connector which fits underneath the surge tank next to the fuel pump relays. I was just wondering if that would work.

also: If I use 15K MCD lights, how can i reduce the output to like 6K MCD.
Could some please post a picture of a white LED installation in a EF/EL

mm i used the wiring diagram in the gregory's book
it a pain in the a** to do it that way, bets way is to find the + wire for the dome light and tap into that.

the rear demister bulb is in the switch itself ( i pressuming it AU ) u need to take the switch out
