Just wonderinig if anyone can tell me what the meaning of the warning light with the fan in the middle of it indicates?
It keeps beeping at me!!! If anyone can let me know what it means or how I can turn the damn thing off, that would be awesome Cheers Pat |

yep low coolent sensor. Check your coolent, if its low, top it up. If its normal then its the sensor playing up and you will need to replace it

It was almost bone dry, I didnt have any coolant so I filled it up with water. Im going to check it over night to see if there are any leaks in hoses etc.
Does the air con use any water? Can anyone suggest a good type of coolant for an EB series I fairmont (windsor)? Im hoping its not a head gasket Cheers for the help Pat |

Dont add any coolant to it unless you know what coolant was in there already. Different brands of coolant can react and sludge up the system. Drain it out completely, flush it out and then add new coolant.
But I wouldnt do that until you find out where its going. Because if its leaking somewhere you will just waste $30 in coolant. Ive used the Nulon long life stuff, supposed to last 5years/100k kms.
